Isaiah 4 ; 1 . And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying. We will eat our own bread, and wear our apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to takeaway a way our reproach.

V.2. In that day shall the Branch of the LORD be beautiful and glorious. And the fruit of the earth be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel. ( The Branch = Jesus: The fruit = born again Christians )- we are escaped from sin, death, and hell . . . Egypt and the world –

2Timothy 2: 19. Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, the Lord knoweth them that are his, and let everyone that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
V. 20. But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; some to honour, and some to , dishonour.

V.21. If a man therefore purge himself from these, He shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctifield, and meet for the master’s use and prepared unto every good work.

Luke 13:23-24. Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them.
V.24. Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many. I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.

Matthew 7:14. Because strait is the gate , and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

The bible is clearly saying only a few are truly saved-Mat.22:14. For many are called, but few are chosen.

Matthew 22:2-7.[ The king – God – calls all the eligible people- the Jews- to the wedding of his Son – Jesus-. The leaders and elders of the religious group were too busy with their own programs and lifestyles and would not come. The king-God-was angry that they did not reverence his son and he cast them down and destroyed their city (goodbye natural Israel – mark 11:13).
Now the gospel massage went to the Gentiles- Vs. 8-11 (Acts.13:46); who received the gospel message with gladness (Acts 13:48) and as many as were ordained (chosen) to eternal life believed. However . even among the gentiles were those who want to wear their own garments (works of righteousness ) and still to get in-Vs 11-14. They are relying on their religious service to get to heaven and they insist on being called ‘Christian’. “We have our doctrine-bread-and our programs-garment-but you must call me Christian”.

Remember Mat. 7:21-23. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say unto me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them. I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity,, read Vs.24-27.

Matthew 4:4. Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth from the mouth of God.
John 6:51. I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

Proverb 4: 20 – 23 . My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.

V.21. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.

V.22 . For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.

V. 23. Keep thine heart with all diligence; for out it are the issues of life . ( read Vs. 24 – 27 . )
This is God’s condition for partaking of bread. We are to be committed to constant fellowship with God through his word (Jesus) (1Jn.1:3) , and if the word of has indeed become our lifestyle we are partaking of the bread of heaven.

John 6 : 55 . my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.
The blood which sanctifies us, is also the cup off sacrificial living.

We put on our garment or gown of holiness which simply means we separate ourselves from the carnal life of worldly pleasure and live a life of total dedication and service to God. (Eph.2:10 applies)

Romans 12: 1. I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, Holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service ( that which is expected of you by God )

V.2 . and be not confirmed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Romans 11: 36 . . . For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things; to whom be glory for ever. Amen.

We would have nothing, no mercy, if it was not first for God who enabled us to partake of his free gift of eternal life through and by the cross while we were yet dead in our sins. (Eph.2:18; Jn.11:25–44.)

Now that we are called out of ‘Egypt, ‘ we are to be holy, separated to God from out of this world (Jn.17:14–16) according to God’s standards – which are not found in a man- made religion or man – made temple, but rather are found in a lifestyle centered on the word of God, dedicated to ‘ judgment running as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream ( Amos 5 ).

John 7 : 38. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
Isaiah 12:3–4. Therefore with joy shall you draw water out of the wells of salvation. And in that day shall ye say, Praise the LORD, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted.

Our garment of holiness is clearly also a lifestyle of commitment to the person of the Jesus Christ who indwells us by his Spirit. A life of constantly feeding on his word, keeping ourselves set aside for his use and constantly extolling his virtues.

Isaiah 58: 13. If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath, from doing your pleasure on my Holy day; and call the Sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable: and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words:

V.14 then shalt thou delight in the LORD; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacoh thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.
The person of Jesus is the Sabbath, the rest of God, and our commitment to him must be our whole life – and God will truly bless us ( v. 14 ) .
John 6 : 53 . . . . . Verily, verily, I say unto you, except ye eat the flesh ( his word ) of the Son of man, and drink his blood ( sacrificial living/ persecution ) , ye have no life in you.

Proverb 4:24–27. Put away from thee a forward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee.

V.25. Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.

V.26 Ponder the path of thy feet, and all thy ways be established.

V.27 Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.

Our total lifestyle, our walk, our thought, and our speech should be very different from the ways of the world, a full time commitment to walk in, speak, and live the word of God where ever he sends us for his purpose, for his glory, for his honour.

As in Isaiah 4: 1 many people today believe they will go to heaven because of their own religious works, and hold on to many doctrines that are simply not found in the English King James Bible, the only book of God. They expect to be know as ‘Christians ‘ or ‘ brother ‘ . Jesus made it plain in Luke 8 : 1, My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it.
Clearly not every one is going to heaven, not even most, but only a few.

Jesus alone is our life and there cannot be any thing in the world in the place of Jesus nor any symbol, image or likeness of God/ Jesus. Jesus put an end to man – made temple worship and raised his own body. The true temple of God, as the first born of many brethren ( 1Cor. 15 : 22, 23 ) . When people become born again they become part of the body of Christ –
Ephesians 5 : 30. For we are members of his body, of his flesh and of his bones… and the spirit of God indwells us ( John 14 : 21, 23 ) and becomes our inner witness ( Rom. 8 : 15 ) whereby we know the real presence of our heavenly Father and we become part of the tabernacle of David ( Amos 9 : 8 – 12; Acts 15 : 11 – 17 ) .

Our relationship with Jesus Christ our Savoir is personal, individual, ( he is the husband, we are the bride ), it is not a system. Every system is a cult = a systematic form of worship or devotion – Oxford Dictionary. These systems only serve to perpetuate temple worship – God destroyed Solomon’s temple for ever. One does not need a representative of Jesus when he personally indwells the true believer.JESUS = THE BREAD OF HEAVEN , IS ETERNAL LIFE ( Jn. 6 : 50, 58 ).
