Amos 7: 8. And the LORD said unto me, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A plumbline. Then said the Lord, Behold, I will set a plumbline in the midst of my people Israel: I will not again pass by them anymore.
V. 9. And the high places of Isaac shall be desolate, and the sanctuaries of Israel shall be laid waste; and I will rise against the house of Jeroboam with the sword.
11 Corinthians 28 : 1. Ahaz was twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem: but he did not that which was right in the sight of the LORD, like David his father:
V. 2. For he walked in the ways of the kings of Israel, and made also molten images for Baalim.
V. 3 Moreover he burnt incense in the valley of the sons of Hinnom, and burnt his children in the fire, after the abominations of the heathen whom the LORD had caste out before the children of Israel.
V. 4. He scarified also and bunt incense in the high place, and on the hills, and under every green tree.
V. 5 . wherefore the LORD his God delivered him into the hand of the king of Syria; and they smote him, . . . .
And God spake all these words, saying,
V. 2. I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
V. 3. Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
V. 4. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, of that is in the water under the earth:
V. 5. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity to the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
V. 6. And shewig mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
V. 7. Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
Deuteronomy 4: 12. And the LORD spake unto you out of the midst of the fire: ye heard the voice of the words, but saw no similitude; only ye heard a voice.
V. 13. And he declared unto you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, even ten commandments; and he wrote them upon two tables of stone.
V. 14. And the LORD commanded me at that time to teach you statutes and judgments, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go over to possess it.
V. 15. Take ye therefore good heed unto yourselves; for ye saw no manner of similitude on the day that the LORD spake unto you in Horeb out of the midst of the fire:
V. 16. Lest ye corrupt yourselves, and make you an graven image, the similitude of any figure, the likeness of male or female,
V. 17. The likeness of any beast that is on the earth, the likeness of any winged fowl that flieth in the air.
V. 18. The likeness of anything that creepeth on the ground, the likeness of any fish that is in the waters beneath the earth:
V. 19 And lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them, which the LORD thy God hath divided unto all nations under the whole heaven.
V.23. Take heed unto yourselves, lest ye forget the covenant of the LORD your God, Which he made with you, and make you a graven image, or the likeness of anything which the LORD thy God hath forbidden thee.
Deuteronomy 4:24. For the LORD thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God.
V.25. When thou shalt beget children, and children’s children, and ye shall have remained long in the land, and shall corrupt yourselves, and make a graven image, or the likeness of anything, and shall do evil in the sight of the LORD thy God, to provoke him to anger:
V.26. I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that ye shall soon utterly perish from off the land whereunto ye go over Jordan to posses it: ye shall not prolong your days upon it, but shall utterly be destroyed.
V.2 7. And the LORD shall scatter you among the nations, and ye shall be left few in number among the hearthen, whither the LORD shall lead you.
V.2 8. And there ye shall serve gods, the work of men’s hands, wood and stone, which neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor smell.
V.29. But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.
V.30. When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to the LORD thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice:
V.31. ( For the LORD thy God is a merciful God:) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them.
V.39. Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the LORD he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else.(John 3:13)
V. 40. Thou halt keep therefore his statutes, and his commandments, which I command thee this day, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, and thou mayest prolong thy days upon the earth which the LORD thy God giveth thee, for ever.
Deuteronomy 7: 1. When the LORD thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, . . . greater and mightier than thou;
V. 2 And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them:
V. 3. Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son.
V. 4. For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods; so will the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly.
V. 5. But thus shall ye deal with them, ye shall destroy their altars and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire. ( read the whole chapter )
V. 25 The graven images of their gods shall ye burn with fire: thou shalt not desire the silver or gold that is on them, nor take it unto thee, lest thou be snared therein: for it is an abomination to the LORD thy God.
V. 26. Neither shalt thou bring an abomination into thine house, lest thou be a cursed things like it: but thou shalt utterly detest it, and thou shalt utterly abhor it; for it is a cursed thing.
Acts 17: 24. God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, DWELLETH NOT in temples made with hands;
V. 25. Neither is worshipped with men’s hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;
V. 29. Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we aught not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device.
Acts 17: 30. And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
V. 31. Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.
Romans 1: 17. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. ( 2cor. 5: 7; Heb. 11: 1- 6;Lk. 18: 8 )
V. 18. For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
V.19. Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shown it unto them.
V.20. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, BEING UNDERSTOOD by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.
V.21. Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
V.22. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
V.23. And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four- footed beats, and creeping things.
V.24. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleaness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves.
V. 25. Who changed the truth of the God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the creator, Who is blessed forever. Amen.

11 Corinthians 10: 3.
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
V. 4. ( For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds; )
V. 5. Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.
V. 6. And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.( Ephesians 6:10-18; 1Thessalonians 5:8,9.)
John 7: 24. Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgement.
Leviticus 26:1. Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall you set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the Lord your God.

Malachi 3 : 6. ‘ For I am the LORD, I change not;. . . . .’
Hebrew 3: 6. Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.
V. 9. Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats ( religious service ), Which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.
John 8 : 59. Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, before Abraham was, I am. (Exodus 3:13,14,15).
