DO YOU USE THE NIV BIBLE

God has placed a lot of importance his words.

Do you agree?

The Lord Jesus Christ stated: “Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my WORDS shall not pass away. Psalm 138:2 says… for thou hast magnified thy WORD above all thy name.

The spiritual life blood of the human race is the word of God.

• It brings salvation:
1 peter 1:23 being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the WORD of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

• It produces faith:
Romans 10:17 So then faith commeth by hearing, and hearing by the WORD of God.

• It produces Spiritual growth:
1 peter 2:2 …. desire the sincere milk of the WORD, that ye may grow thereby:

• The Lord Jesus Christ said:
John 6:63… the WORDS that I speak unto you, they are SPIRIT and they are LIFE.
In Luke 8:11, the Lord Jesus Christ tells of the parable of the sower. These are his words,
“Now the parable is this: The SEED is the WORD of God… THEN COMMETH THE DEVIL, and taketh away the WORD…”
Satan knows that if he can supplant even a small seed of doubt in God’s people, or remove some of the precious words, or cause confusion mankind will loose confidence in the Bible and look elsewhere!

1 Cor. 14:33 For God is not the author of confusion…

Most people believe the different versions of the bibble are basically the same. They believe newer versions are just ‘harmless’ updating of words and made easier to understand. Nothing could be further from the truth!
If you are convinced that your NIV ( New International Version) bible is God’s preserved word, and you believe it is just as accurate as the King James 1611 Authorized Bible, then you should be prepared to check it out. 1 Cor.2:15… he that is spiritual judgeth all things…
